Nocton Woolshed is a rustic wedding venue in New Zealand, using a historic woolshed on the property for events. The venue lacked a visual identity connecting to its heritage and surroundings.

Key Insight
Couples and visitors value authenticity and connection to place. The identity should celebrate the venue’s history and the natural landscape.

Design Response
The logo was inspired by wool press pins forming the roof apex, with lines extending into playful knitting patterns across applications, referencing craft and land.

Outcome
A distinctive, flexible identity that celebrates heritage, place and community experience.
