The Weekend Works is a collaborative creative platform between myself and photographer Sarah Anderson, created to explore experimental still-life projects outside of their full-time work. With each project conceived and produced within a single weekend, the brand needed to reflect both the time constraints and creative freedom that define the practice.
The identity was built around the idea that creativity thrives within limitations. A calendar-inspired logo highlights weekends as dedicated “working” days, while playful visual elements reinforce the platform’s spirit of experimentation. This ethos extends into the work itself, with unconventional photographic techniques used to challenge traditional creative processes.
The result is a distinctive and playful brand identity that celebrates experimentation, creative curiosity and the unique opportunities that emerge when making time for personal projects.
